May Travels | Shower Celebration Clothing

Hello, June! We are officially halfway through the year (and this pregnancy) and I can’t believe it!

Last week, I spent my days celebrating Baby with family! I got in on Wednesday afternoon and left Sunday morning. I posted all of these looks on Instagram Stories, under the highlight reel named “Packing”. It was really meant to show how planning out your days would help you pack less!

I actually used a larger tote purse and a small (carry on) roller suitcase. The roller suitcase had an entire side that was free space for when I came back home.

I decided, once I was done posting those photos, that I’d come over here and tell you where things were purchased! Some of it is maternity clothing (because that’s what is fitting me) and some of it is a size larger in non-maternity clothing (to be used as transition pieces after Baby is born)!

Before we get started, let me just say that these links are NOT affiliate links. The items are simply linked to help you find what I’m talking about!

Wednesday was a travel and chill day.

Zip up
Brand and purchase location are escaping me, but as soon as I find out you will be informed!
Stripped Shirt–Non-Maternity
I got the shirt at a boutique within The Barn at Castle Rock. I have it in a large so that it drapes over my stomach with a little room to grow. The fabric is light enough that I think this will turn into a good layering piece after Baby is born.
Shorts
The shorts came from the Motherhood Maternity outlet near me. In this photo, I have the color “Medium Wash” with distressing, but I also own them in “White” and “Dark Wash”. For sizing, I am a medium in all colors.
Leggings
The leggings came from Macy’s Pea in the Pod Collection. I have them in this grey color and also black, which came in a two pack. For sizing, I am a medium.
Shoes
The shoes were an exciting find from Wal-Mart. They are $6 and I get a new pair about every 6 months. At the 6 month mark, I use the older ones as outdoor “I don’t care if they get dirty” shoes. I’m a size 8 in these shoes, but because of pregnancy, I think I may go up a size soon. Side note, usually for shoes like these I’m an 8.5, but these shoes seem to run  a smidge big.

Thursday was a day of pampering. I knew that my feet would swell from the plane ride, so I had scheduled a manicure and pedicure to help alleviate the swelling. That evening turned into a girl’s shopping trip and dinner.

Shirt–Non-maternity
This shirt is from Old Navy. I have it in the small. When I’m not pregnant, I can button it and the fit was slim, but relaxed.
Dress–Non-maternity
This maxi dress is also from Old Navy. I have a non-maternity size Small with no slit in the side. Prior to being pregnant, it was long and a little too big for my comfort. It started out fitting fine, but by mid-day it would be stretched out. Now, it fits perfectly!
Shoes
I have no idea where the shoes came from, but I know they were inexpensive. They are a more canvas type strap that doesn’t give me blisters and are SO comfortable!

Friday, was a day of driving, ice cream cones, walking, and then the Baby Dinner!

Floral Shirt–Non-maternity
I got the shirt at a boutique within The Barn at Castle Rock. This, too, is a large and is fairly stretchy without being see through. Again, I’m thinking this will be another good after Baby shirt.
Sweater–Non-maternity
Another Old Navy find! I decided to get this in the large so it wouldn’t cling to my chest and I could easily layer longer sleeved shirts with it. The color is Palomino and is the PERFECT neutral, not white, sweater!
Shorts
These are the same shorts that I wore on Wednesday. They came from the Motherhood Maternity outlet store.
Shoes
These shoes are the MOST comfortable flats I own! I have them in nude and black, in an 8.5. I got them over four years ago at Nordstrom Rack, but unfortunately have not seen them there since. They are a Cole Haan and Nike collaboration shoe that cost me about $70. The closest shoes I could find were the Tali and the Terrin.

Dress
Here is another Motherhood Maternity find! I found this guy a few months ago and picked it up when they were having their dress sale. I was, also, able to couple it with a coupon making it about 35% off. I have it in a Medium and it fits like a glove!

Saturday we socialized, swung through Babies R Us, ate, and then relaxed!

Shirt
The stripped 3/4 length shirt is from Old Navy. I wear a medium in both the maternity and non-maternity version. That’s right! I’ve had this shirt for about a year, prior to being pregnant, and love it enough that I purchased it in the maternity version. It is the perfect year round shirt!
Sweater
I don’t think I can say this enough–I love this Old Navy find! Size Large and color Palomino!
Jeans
These jeans are supposed to be cropped, hitting around mid- to lower-calf. On me, they are the perfect ankle jean that I can roll to become “cropped”. I also found that they run small and purchased a Large to ensure maximum comfort! I purchased these on sale, with a coupon, from Motherhood Maternity.
Shoes
These are a Cole Haan and Nike Air collaboration shoe that cost me about $70. The closest shoes I could find were the Tali and the Terrin.

Sunday was another travel day back home!

Shirt
I got the shirt at a boutique within The Barn at Castle RockIt is a very lightweight, flow-y shirt that can be dressed up or down. This, too, is in a Large to cover the bump!
Zip Up
Brand and purchase location are escaping me, but as soon as I find out you will be informed!
Shorts
These are the same shorts that I wore throughout the week.
Shoes
I wore the same shoes from Wednesday’s outfit, from Wal-Mart.

Minus one pair of pajamas and gym shorts with a cotton t-shirt, this is everything I packed.

Here are some photos from the Baby Dinner!
